Mimi is Head of Communications at One Way Ventures, where she manages media relations, storytelling and brand for the firm and its leadership team. She also supports One Way’s portfolio, helping founders craft their storytelling and engage the media as they scale.

A former journalist and investigator, Mimi previously covered conflict, peacebuilding and human rights in Latin America. She was Project Manager at InSight Crime, an investigative think tank in Colombia, later working as a freelance journalist in South America and the Caribbean.

Mimi then joined the international PR agency Publicize as part of a small team spearheading their Europe operations, eventually leading a team of PR experts as Senior Writer and Editor. Mimi has helped VCs, accelerators and international corporations develop their thought leadership and communications strategies. She has supported dozens of startups across verticals through their fundraising and growth journeys. Mimi has a BA from the University of Cambridge.
